Windy and cold outside

So the answer to a miserable day out is to start thinking about how Fun in the Lounge could look this year. One rather long box presented a storage problem. It was relaxing to open a plastic box or two. Then I just gently began, here and there:

Watching brief

Fun in the Lounge keeps a watching brief on Christmas build-ups around the world, and has just discovered something rather interesting in Cologne. A lot happens there in the lead up to Christmas, including highly specialised markets. ‘Small, sophisticated and totally different from any other Christmas market you’ve ever seen before.’ We are starting to think about how Fun in the Lounge will be this year. September in the shops

I noted today that some stores have begun putting out Christmas stock. I don’t believe Fun in the Lounge has any of these things exactly. Not exactly the same. Similar for sure.
